IMPORTANT:
• DO NOT remove the probe if it is sll at high temperature (over 100°C). Always
allow the calibrator to cool
thermal shock to the probe itself and harm to people or things.
• Before switching off the calibrator, make sure that it's temperature is almost the
same as ambient temperature.
Note:
The stability icon flashes, if the reached temperature is according to the set point
±0.5°C for 10 minutes conniously..
6.2.3 Switching off the calibrator
CAUTION: Risk of burns
Before touching the probes under test or transporng the calibrator, ensure that the
block is at ambient temperature.
Switching off the calibrator or diconnecng the electric supply, the fan stops working
with a risk of internal overheang. If the calibrator is at high temperature, set +25°C
and wait before turning off.
Important for the
If you have recently worked with low temperatures below 0°C, set the setpoint to 70-80°C for a
while to allow any moisture in the block to evaporate, then set to ambient temperature before
removing the sensor and switching off the appliance. At very low temperatures, ice can form in
the compensaon block or in the insert sleeve.
Switch off the calibrator (when the ambient temperature is reached) and disconnect the mains
plug.
6.3 Use of the Switch Test funcon
It is possible to check the intervenon point of switches/thermostates by the SWITCH TEST
funcon, refer to chapter 7.2.
