• Do not bring highly flammable media near the calibrator.
• Do not use the device in poten�ally explosive atmospheres.
• Always use common sense.
The appliance is equipped with the following devices to protect opera�on from
hazards:
• The thermoregulator detects any breakage of the internal temperature sensor (9)
and then switches off the hea�ng.
• Protec�ve grille to prevent any contact with the interior.
• Protec�ve fuses (3).
• Earthing connec�on.
4. Prepara�on of opera�on
4.1 Installa�on and connec�on
4.1.1 Removing the packaging
The calibrator is delivered with packaging suitable for transporta�on using conven�onal shipping
systems. Any transport damage must be reported to the carrier immediately. Insert sleeves are
packed separately. Block inserts must be inserted into the calibrator when it is ready for opera�on.
4.1.2 Posi�oning the calibrator
Place the calibrator in a ver�cal posi�on in a safe, clean loca�on. Leave sufficient space around the
calibrator to allow air to circulate in the device.
DANGER:
The calibrator is suitable for opera�on at high temperatures and the associated fire
hazard. Keep it away from all flammable materials and do not place any liquids inside
the block.
To avoid an odor in the room, it is be�er to place the calibrator for the first �me in a
par�cularly well ven�lated environment.
4.1.3 Power supply: 115 or 230 VAC
The calibrator works with a voltage of 230 or 115 VAC, 50/60Hz. The calibrator
automa�cally sets the power supply to 115 or 230V. A 2.5 m long cable is included with
the calibrator. Make sure that the system is properly grounded before switching on the
device.
