If you are using a three-head tape deck without
a COMPU LINK-2/SYNCHRO terminal:

Connect the tape deck to the TAPE 2/
VIDEO SOUND terminals.
You can monitor the recorded sound while
recording by pressing the TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND button.
Using stereo headphones
Stereo headphones can be plugged into the
front panel jack. The signal from this jack is
independent of the speakers.
te Plug stereo headphones into this jack for
private listening and recording monitoring.
If you want to listen to sound from the
headphones alone, press the SPEAKER
buttons to OFF (SL).
To listen through headphones while listen-
ing to the speakers, press the appropriate
SPEAKER buttons to ON (==).
Note:
Pull out the headphone plug when not in use.
Dubbing tapes
To dub tapes, connect to two tape decks. One
for playback and the other for recording. You
can dub from the tape deck (connected to
the TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND terminals) onto
the ather tape deck (connected to the TAPE 1
REC terminals), and vice versa.
Dubbing from Tape 1 to Tape 2

Activate the TAPE 1 button and the TAPE
+ indicator lights.
Operate the tape deck (connected to the
TAPE 1 PLAY terminals) for playbadk.
Operate the tape deck (connected to the
TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND terminals) for
recording.

1. Activate the TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND
button and the TAPE 2 MONITOR in-
dicator lights.
. Operate the tape deck (connected to the
TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND terminals) for
playback.
. Operate the tape deck (connected to the
TAPE 1 REC terminalis} for recording.
When dubbing from the tape deck (connected
to the TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND terminals)
onto the other tape deck, select the button
other than "TAPE 1".
While playing back a tape on the tape deck
(connected to the TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND
terminals), you can not record other source
sounds onto the component (connected to
the TAPE 1 REC terminals).
@When recording or dubbing tapes, the source
sound will be heard from the speakers or
headphones (not the sound being recorded
on the tape).
Bei Verwendung eines Cassettenrecorders mit
drei Tonképfen ohne COMPU LINK-2/SYN-
CHRO-AnschiuB:
1. Den Cassettenrecorder an die TAPE 2/
VIDEO SOUND-Anschlisse anschlieRen.
2. Wahrend der Aufnahme kann der bereits
aufgenommene Ton gehért werden (Hinter-
bandkontrolle), indem die TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND-Taste gedriickt wird.
Verwendung eines Stereo-Kopfhorers
An der Frontplatte befindet sich eine Buchse
zum AnschlieBen eines Stereo-Kopfhérers. Das
Signal von dieser Buchse ist unabhangig von den
Lautsprechern.
1. Diese Buchse dient zum AnschlieRen eines
Stereo-Kopfhorers 'flr ungestortes H6éren
oder Aufnahmeiiberwachung. Soll nur iber
Kopfhérer gehdért werden, die SPEAKERS-
Taste auf OFF driicken ( @ ).
2. Um iber K6pfhdrer und gleichzeitig die
Lautsprecher zu héren, die entsprechenden
SPEAKERS-Tasten auf ON driicken ( -m ).
Hinweis:
e@Den Kopfhérer abtrennen, wenn er nicht
verwendet wird.
Uberspielen von Cassetten
Zum Uberspielen von Cassetten miissen zwei
Decks angeschlossen werden, eines fiir Wie-
dergabe und das andere fiir Aufnahme. Die
Uberspielung ist in beide Richtungen mdglich:
von Deck 2 {an die Buchsen TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND angeschlossen) zu Deck 1 (an die
Buchsen TAPE 1 REC angeschlossen) zu Deck
1 (an die Buchsen TAPE 1 REC angeschlossen)
oder umgekehrt.
Oberspielen von Deck 1 zu Deck 2
1. Die Taste TAPE 1 driicken, so da die An-
zeige TAPE 1 leuchtet.
2, Cassettendeck 1 (an die Buchsen TAPE 1
PLAY angeschlossen) auf Wiedergabe stellen.
3. Cassettendekc 2 (an die Buchsen TAPE
2/VIDEO SOUND angeschlossen) auf Auf-
nahme stellen.
ee von Deck 2 zu Deck 1
. Die Taste TAPE 2/V!DEO SOUND dnricken,
so da& die Anzeige TAPE 2 MONITOR
leuchtet.
2. Cassettendeck 2 (an die Buchsen TAPE
2/VIDEO SOUND angeschlossen) auf
Wiedergabe stellen.
3. Cassettendeck 1 (an die Buchsen TAPE 1
REC angeschlossen) auf Aufnahme stellen.
Hinweises:
e@ Zum Oberspielen von Deck 2 (an die Buchsen
TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND angeschlossen) zu
Deck 1 darf nicht die Taste "TAPE 1" ge-
driickt werden.
@Wahrend der Wiedergabe einer Cassette mit
Deck 2 (an die Buchsen TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND angeschlossen) kann von keiner
anderen Tonquelle auf Deck 1 (an die Buchsen
TAPE 1 REC angeschlossen) aufgenommen
werden.
@Bei der Aufnahme bzw. beim Oberspieten
von Cassetten ist immer der Ton von der
Tonquelle itber die Lautsprecher zu héren,
und nicht der auf Band aufgezzeichnete
Ton.

Si vous utilisez une platine a trois tétes sans
borne COMPU LINK-2/SYNCHRO:
1. Raccorder la platine a cassette aux bornes
TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND.
2. Vous pouvez contréler fe son enregistré tout
en enregistrant en appuyant sur la touche
TAPE 2/ViDEO SOUND.
Utilisation d'un casque d'écoute stéréo
Un casque d'écoute stéréo peut étre branché sur
la prise du panneau avant. Le signal de cette
prise est indépendant des haut-parleurs.
1. Brancher le casque d'écoute stéréo a cette
prise pour une écoute privée ou le contréle
d'enregistrement. Si vous voulez seulement
écouter le son du casque d'écoute, presser
jes touches SPEAKER sur OFF ( i ),
2. Pour écouter avec le casque d'écoute tout
en écoutant les haut-parleurs, presser les
touches SPEAKER appropriées sur ON
( =).
Remarque:
@ Débrancher Ia fiche du casque d'écoute quand
vous ne |'utilisez pas.
Duplication de cassettes
Connecter deux magnétocassettes, un pour la
lecture et l'autre pour |l'enregistrement, pour
dupliquer des cassettes. Vous pouvez faire te
duplication du magnétocassette (connecté aux
bornes pour magnétocassette 2 (TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND) vers I'autre magnétocassette {connecté
aux bornes de sortie pour enregistremment sur
magnétocassette 1 (TAPE 1 REC) et vice versa.
Dupplication du magnétocassette 1 vers le
magnétocassette 2
1. Enclencher la touche TAPE 1, le témoin
TAPE 1 s'allume.
2. Faire fonctionner le magnétocassette {con-
necté aux bornes de lecture pour magnéto-
cassette 1 TAPE 1 PLAY) dans le mode de
lecture.
3. Faites fonctionner te mangétocassette (con-
necté aux bornes pour magnétocassette 2
TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND) dans te mode
d'enregistrement.
Dupplication du magnétocassette 2 vers le
magnétocassette 1
1. Enclenchez la touche TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND, te témoin TAPE 2 MONITOR
s'allume.
2. Faites fonctionner te magnétocassette {con-
necté aux bornes TAPE 2/ViIDEO SOUND}
dans le mode de lecture.
3. Faites fonctionner le magnétocasset te (con-
necté aux bornes TAPE 1 REC} dans le
mode d'enregistrement.
Remarques:
e Lors de la duplication de bandes 4 partir du
magnétocassette (connecté aux bornas TAPE
2/VIDEO SOUND) vers un autre magnéto-
cassette, utilisez une touche autre que "TAPE

@Lors de la lecture de la cassette dy. magné-
tocassette (connecté aux bornes TAPE 2/
VIDEO SOUND), vous ne pouvez pas en-
registrer une autre source d'entrée sur l'ap-
pareil (connecté aux bornes TAPE 1 EC).
© Lors de l'enregistrement ou de la duplication
de cassettes, le son délivré par les enceintes ou
le casque est celui de la source d'enirée (non
pas le son enregistré sur la bande).
