@ PoweER
ON ( -= }: Press to turn the power on.
STAND BY (©): As long as the power
cord is plugged into an AC outlet, the
memory circuit operates and the preset sta-
tions and the source selector data are not
erased. The preset station and source select
data will be held in memory even in the case
of a power failure or when the power cord
is disconnected, if the period power is not
applied does not exceed a couple of days.
Note:
e@Even when the POWER button is set to
STAND BY, this receiver consumes a small
amount of electricity (5 watts). To shut
the power off completely, disconnect the
power cord.
@ RECEIVED indicator
This indicator lights when information is be-
ing received from the remote control unit.
® TAPE REC indicator
This indicator jights when the cassette deck
enters the record mode under the control
of the remote control unit.
@ TAPE 2 MONITOR indicator
When the TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND button
has been pressed, this indicator lights.

This shows the audio signal selected with
the source selectors, to be heard or record-
ed. When the MUTE button is pressed,
"MUTE" is displayed. Pressing the button
again will release the "MUTE" function and
the source indication will be restored. When
the MUTE button on the remote control
unit is pressed, the display shows "MUTE";
when it is pressed again, 'OFF' will be
displayed,
@ Operation symbol indicators
When any of the [>], [a]. ee). ba.
G0 , *) and B®) buttons of the re-
mote control unit is pressed, the correspond-
ing indicator lights. (See page 47.)
@ FM/AM indicator
"FM" is displayed during FM reception and
"AM" during AM reception.
Frequency indicator
The current frequency is displayed digitally.
Four digits (kHz) are displayed during AM
reception, five digits (MHz) (for Europe,
U.K. Australia, and other countries) or four
digits (MHz) (for U.S.A. and Canada) are
displayed during FM reception.

This shows the preset channel selected by
the 10-key keypad, for a total of 40 FM and
AM stations, It also shows the station num-
ber while programming or monitoring pro-
grammed broadcasts.

ON ( -= }: Zur Einschaitung der Spannungs-
versorgung betatigen.
STAND BY (BL): Bei angeschlossenem
Netzkabel arbeitet der Speicherschaltkreis,
so dal§ Senderspeicher und Signalquellen-
wahlereinstellung nicht geléscht werden.
Diese Speicherungen werden selbst im Falle
eines Stromausfalls und nach Abziehen des
Netzkabels beibehalten, wenn diese Unter-
brechung der Spannungsversorgung die
Dauer von einigen Tagen nicht Uberschreitet.
Hinweis:
e@ Auch bei STAND BY-Betriebsart wird eine
geringe Leistung (5 Watt) aufgenommen.
Zur kompletten Abschaltung das Netzkabel
abziehen.
@ Empfangsbestatigungsanzeige (RECEIVED)
Leuchtet bei Empfang der von der Fernbe-
dienungseinheit kommenden Signale.
(3) Bandgerat-Aufnahmeanzeige (TAPE REC)
Diese Anzeige leuchtet, wenn ein ange-
schlossener Cassettenrecorder mit der Fern-
bedienung auf Aufnahme geschaltet wird.
@ TAPE 2 MONITOR-Anzeige
Nach Drticken der Taste TAPE 2/VIDEO
SOUND leuchtet diese Anzeige.
6 Signalquellenbetriebsanzeige
OPERATION)
Zeigt das fiir die Wiedergabe oder Aufnahme
angewahite Audiosignal an. Bei eingeschal-
teter Stummschaltung erfolgt Anzeige
"MUTE. Nach Abschaltung der Stumm-
schaltung erfolgt erneut Signalquellenan-
zeige. Bei Betadtigen der MUTE-Taste der
Fernbedienung erscheint die Anzeige
"MUTE" im Display. Bei erneuter Betatigung
wechselt die Anzeige auf ""OFF''.
@ Symbol-Betriebsartanzeigen
Bei Betadtigen der Tasten (»], Ca], ),
fo) , 7 , <4) und [®) leuchtet die ent-
sprechende Anzeige. (Siehe Seite 47.)
@ UKW/MW- Anzeige (FM/AM)
Bei UKW-Empfang wird ''FM" und bei MW-
Empfang ''AM" angezeigt.
(8) Frequenz-Anzeige
Die Empfangsfrequenz wird digital angezeigt.
Bei MW-Empfang werden vier Stetlen (kHz)
und bei UKW-Empfang fiinf Stellen (MHz)
(Europa, Australien und andere Lander)
bzw. vier Stellen (MHz) (USA und Kanada)
angezeigt.
@ Senderspeicheranzeige
NEL)
Zeigt fur insgesamt 40 UKW/AM-Sender die
Senderspeicher an, die Gber die 10er-Tastatur
eingegeben wurden, Bei Programmierung
oder Uberwachung wird ebenfalls die Sen-
dernummer angezeigt.

@ Alimentation (POWER)
ON ( -= ): Appuyer pour mettre |'alimen-
tation.
STAND BY ( -@ ): Quand le cordon d'ali-
mentation est branche sur une prise CA, le
circuit de mémoire fonctionne et les sta-
tions preréglees et les selecteurs de source
ne seront pas annulees ni changes accidentel-
lement. Les données prereglees et les donnees
préreglees et les données de selection dé
source sont maintenues méme dans le cas
d'une panne de courant ou quand le cordon
d'alimentation est debranchee si la duree
pendant laquelle l'alimentation n'est pas
furnie n'excéde pas quelques jours.
Remarque:
@ Méme quand la touche POWER est placée
sur STAND BY, cet ampli-syntoniseur
consomme un peu d'électricité (5 watts).
Pour couper complétement I'alimentation,
débrancher fe cordon d'alimentation,
@ Indicateur de réception (RECEIVED)
Cet indicateur s'allume quand |'information
de la téelécommande a été recue.,
@ indicateur (TAPE REC)
Cet indicateur s'allume quand la platine a
cassette passe en mode d'enregistrement
sous la commande du boitier de télécom-
mande.
@Q indicateur TAPE 2 MONITOR
Quand la touche TAPE 2/VIDEO SOUND a
été pressée, cet indicateur s'allume. ,
@ Indicateur de source (SOURCE OPERA-
TION)
I| montre le signal audio sélectionné avec les
sélecteurs de source, pour |'écoute ou
l'enregistrement. Quand la touche MUTE
est pressée, "MUTE" est affiché. Une
nouvelle pression sur la touche libérera la
fonction "MUTE" et l'indication de source
reviendra. Si la touche MUTE sur la télé
commande est pressée, |'affichage montre
"MUTE"; en appuyant 4 nouveau, "OFF"
sera affiché.
@ Indicateurs symboliques de fonctionnement
Si l'une des touches du boitier de télé-
commande [>], Ca], ed), be, On),
(<<) ou BY) est pressée, |'indicateur cor-
respondant s'allume. (Se reporter a la page 47.)
@ Indicateur FM/AM
"FM" est affiché pendant la réception FM
et "AM" apparait en réception AM.
@ Indicateur de fréquence
La fréquence courante est affichée de fagon
numérique. Quatres chiffres (kHz) sont
affichés en réception AM, cinq chiffres
(MHz) (pour l'Europe, le Royaume-Uni,
'Australie et d'autres pays) ou quatre
chiffres (MHz) (pour les Etats-Unis et Je
Canada) sont affichés pendant la réception
FM.
@Affichage du canal prérégls (PRESET
CHANNEL)
\| montre le canal préréglé sélectionné par
le clavier 4 10 touches, pour un total de 40
stations FM et AM. II indique égalernent le
numéro de station pendant la programma-
tion ou le contréle d'émissions program-
mées.
