Press this button to quickly wind the tape
from the right to left reel.
For the VCR: Press this button to take the
VCR from the stop mode to the rewind
mode. During playback, press this button
for high-speed playback in the reverse direc-
tion (Shuttle search).
©] PLAY: Press this button to play a tape.

Press this button to instantly mute the
sound, To return the volume to its original
level, press this button again, or press the
BALANCE or VOLUME button.
Note:
e The operating indications of VOL "+",
"." and "MUTE", "OFF" will be shown
in the display.
Batteries
© How to install batteries (Fig. 18)
1. Slide the cover of the battery case in the
direction of the arrow to remove it.
2. Install batteries (AA, UM-3, R6: 1.5 V),
with the correct polarity.
3. Re-instail the cover of the battery case.
© Battery life
The batteries can be used for about one year.
® Battery replacement time
*When the distance from which the remote
control unit functions begins to decrease,
replace both batteries.
Notes:
@ When the remote control is operated too near
the receiver during AM reception, it may
cause interference.
@ The remote control can normally be used up
to about 8 m (26 ft) from the receiver.

richtung aus.
Hinweis:
eDie den Tasten (1) , (a), [4] und
[b] entsprechenden Symbolanziegen im
Displayfeld leuchten. Siehe Seite 47. Diese
Anzeigen sind nicht fiir einen Videore-
corder verfiigbar. ;
@ Lautstarke (VOLUME)
Taste fur die Erhdhung, Taste ©) fir
die Absenkung der Lautstarke betatigen.
@ Stummschaltung (MUTE)
Zur sofortigen Tonstummschaltung betati-
gen. Zur Umschaltung auf die urspriingliche
Lautstarke nochmals diese Taste, bzw. die
BALANCE- oder VOLUME-Taste betatigen.
Hinweis:
@ Die Funktionsanzeige fiir VOL "+", "-"
und "MUTE", "OFF" wird im Display
angezeigt.
Batterien
e Einsetzen der Batterien (Abb. 18)
1. Den Batteriefachdeckel in Pfeilrichtung ab-
Ziehen.
2. Die mitgelieferten Batterien (AA, UM-3,
R6: 1,5 V) unter Beachtung der Polaritat
einsetzen.
3. Den Batteriefachdeckel wieder anbringen.
@ Lebensdauer der Batterien
Die Lebensdauer der Batterien betragt etwa
ein Jahr.
e Zeitpunkt zum Auswechseln der Batterien
Wenn die Entfernung, in der die Fernbedie-
nungseinheit arbeitet, abnimmt, miissen beide
Batterien ausgewechselt werden.
Hinweise:
@Wenn die Fernbedienungseinheit bei MW-
Empfang zu nahe am Empfanger verwendet
wird, kann sie Interferenzst6rungen bewirken.
e@ Die Fernbedienung kann bis zu einer Entfer-
nung von etwa 8 m vom Empfanger ver-
wendet werden.

Appuyer sur cette touche pour faire défiler
rapidement la bande de fa droite vers la
gauche,
Pour le magnétoscope: Appuyer sur cette
touche pour faire passer le magnétoscope du
mode d'arrét en mode de _ rebobinage.
Pendant la lecture, appuyer sur cette touche
pour la lecture rapide dans la direction
inverse (Recherche rapide).
(®] Lecture (PLAY): Appuyer sur cette
touche pour lire une bande.
(ee) ): Pour la platine a cassette (TAPE 1):
Appuyer sur cette touche pour faire défiler
rapidement la bande de la gauche vers la
droite.
Pour le magnétoscope: Appuyer sur cette
touche pour faire passer le magnétoscope du
mode d'arrét en mode d'avance rapide.
Pendant la lecture, appuyer sur cette touche
pour la lecture rapide dans la direction
normale (Recherche rapide).
Remarque:
e Les symboles correspondant aux touches
(1). Cw). (oa) et foe) seront montrés
sur V'affichage. Se reporter a la page 47.
Ils ne sont pas montrés dans te cas d'un
magnétoscope.
@voLuME
Appuyer sur la touche [4 pour augmenter
le volume et sur la touche [] pour le
diminuer.
@ Silencieux (MUTE)
Appuyer sur cette touche pour couper
immédiatement le son. Pour remettre le
volume a son niveau original, appuyer a
nouveau sur la touche, ou appuyer sur la
touche BALANCE ou VOLUME.
Remarque:
Les indications de fonctionnement de
volume (VOL) "+", "-" et de silencieux
("MUTE"), "OFF" apparaftront dans
Vatfichage.
Piles
@ Installation des piles (Fig. 18)
1. Faire coulisser te couvercle du boitier des
piles dans ta direction de la fléche pour le
retirer.
2. Mettre en place les batteries (AA, UM-3,
R6: 1,5 V), avec fa polarité correcte.
3 Remettre en place le couvercle du boitier
des piles.
© Durée de vie des piles
Les piles peuvent étre utilisées pendant
environ un an.
e@ Rempiacement des piles
* Quand la distance sur laquelle fe boitier de
télécommande fonctionne commence 4
diminuer, remplacer toutes Jes deux piles.
Remarques:
eQuand la télécommande fonctionne trop
prés de l'ampli-syntoniseur pendant la récep-
tion AM, elle peut provoquer des inter-
férences.
eLa télécommande peut normalement étre
utilisée jusqu'a environ 8 m de I'ampli-
syntoniseur.
