Press this button and one of the PRESET
CHANNEL numeric keys to scan and preset
to broadcasts automatically. Starting from
the frequency being displayed, the tuner
will scan to higher frequencies until a broad-
cast is received. The TUNED indicator will
light and the channel number you have
pressed earlier will flicker for three seconds.
If you do not wish to store this frequency in
memory, press this button within four sec-
onds, and scanning will start again. Other-
wise, the MEMORY indicator and channel
number will light together and the frequen-
cy will be stored in the channel memory,
after which up-scanning will continue. This
process continues until the preset channel
with the highest frequency is stored in mem-
mory. If the frequency reaches its upper
limit, the auto memory function stops and
the channel number in the memory of
which the highest frequency is stored will
be shown. If the upper limit of the frequen-
cy band is reached before this happens, the
upper limit frequency is shown. Otherwise,
when this process ends, the last frequency
tuned to and its corresponding channel
number are displayed.
Note:
@To cancel the auto memory function,
press any of the buttons in the tuner sec-
tion other than the AUTO MEMORY
button.
FM MODE/MUTE
For normal FM reception and automatic
elimination of interstation noise, press this
button so that FM MODE "AUTO" and FM
MUTE "ON" light in the display.
When receiving a weak or noisy FM stereo.
broadcast, press this button so that
"MONO" (FM MODE) and "OFF" (FM
MUTE) light; the broadcast will be heard in
mono but reception will be clearer.
Zum automatischen Absuchen und Spei-
chern von Radiosendern diese Taste und
eine der Senderspeicher-Tasten drucken. Die
Empfangsfrequenz wird beginnend mit der
angezeigten Frequenz automatisch erhoht,
bis ein Sender gefunden ist. Dann leuchtet
die TUNED-Anzeige und die zuvor ge-
drickte Kanainummer blinkt fir drei Sekun-
den. Soll dieser Sender nicht in den Speicher
eingegeben werden, diese Taste innerhalb
von 4 Sekunden driicken, und die Absch-
funktion beginnt erneut. Ansonsten leuch-
ten die MEMORY-Anzeige und Kanal-
nummer zusammen, und die Frequenzwird
in diesem Kanal gespeichert. Danach wird
das Absuchen in Aufwartsrichtung forge-
zetzt, bis die hdchste Kanalnummer der
Stationstasten eine Frequenz gespeichert
hat.
Wenn die Frequenz die obere Grenze er-
reicht hat, stoppt die automatische Spei-
cherfunktion, und die Kanalnummer, in der
die hdéchste Frequenz gespeichert ist, wird
angezeigt. Wenn die obere Grenze des Fre-
quenzbereiches erreicht wird, bevor dies
geschieht, wird die obere Frequenzgrenze
angeziegt. Ansonsten werden nach Beendi-
gung des Vorgangs die letzte abgestimmte
Frequenz und der entsprechende Kanal an-
gezeigt.
Hinweis:
eZur Abschaltung der Automatikspeicher-
funktion eine Taste des Tunerteils (mit
Ausnahme der AUTO MEMORY. Taste)
betadtigen.
UKW-Empfangsart/Dampfung-Taste
(FM MODE/MUTE)
Fir normalen UKW-Empfang und auto-
matische Unterdriickung der Stérgerausche
zwischen den Sendern diese Taste dricken,
so da& "AUTO" fir FM MODE und "ON"
fir FM MUTE auf dem Display leuchten.
Beim Empfang eines schwachen oder ver-
rauschten UKW-Stereosenders diese Taste
dricken, so da& "MONO" fiir FM MODE
und "OFF" fir FM MUTE leuchten. Dann
wird der Sender in Mono gehért, aber der
Empfang ist viel klarer.

les émissions. En commencant par la fré-
quence affichée, le syntoniseur passe aux
fréquences plus élevées jusqu'a ce qu'une
émission soit recue. L'indicateur TUNED
s'allumera et le numéro de canal que vous
avez pressé auparavant clignotera pendant
trois secondes. Si vous ne voulez pas mettre
cette fréquence en mémoire, appuyer sur
cette touche dans les quatre secondes, et
le balayage reprendra. Sinon, l'indicateur
MEMORY et le numéro de canal s'allu-
meront ensemble et la fréquence sera mise
dans la mémoire de canal, aprés le balayage
dans 'ordre croissant continuera. Ce pro-
cessus continue jusqu'a ce que le canal de
numéro le plus élevé ait une fréquence en
mémoire. Si la limite supérieure de la
gamme de fréquence est atteinte, la fonc-
tion de mémoire automatique s'arréte et le
numéro de canal ayant mémorisé Ja plus
haute fréquence est indiqué. Si la limite
supérieure de la gamme de fréquence est
atteinte avant que ceci n'arrive, la fréquence
limite supérieure est indiquée, Sinon, quand
ce processus s'arréte, la derniére fréquence
syntonisée et son numéro de canal corres-
pondant sont affichés.
Remarque:
e Pour annuler la fonction de mémoire auto-
matique, appuyer sur une des touches de
la partie syntoniseur autre que la touche
AUTO MEMORY.
Mode/silencieux FM (FM MODE/MUTE)
Pour la réception FM normale et !'élimina-
tion automatique du bruit inter-stations,
appuyer sur cette touche pour que ''AUTO"
de FM MODE et ON" de FM MUTE
s'allument dans l'affichage.
En recevant une émission stéréo FM faible
ou bruitée, appuyer sur cette touche pour
que "MONO" (FM MODE) et 'OFF' (FM
MUTE) s'allument; I'émission sera entendue
en mono, mais la réception sera plus claire.
