Orientation of the water tank

Float with magnetic point
Orient the water tank so that
•
the float is inserted with the magnetic point facing up, and
•
the valve is at the bottom right of the tank.
Only when the water tank is correctly oriented can it be inserted in the housing
so that the edges of the tank lie completely on the housing.
11.5.2 Cleaning the water tank
Clean the water tank daily. Do not put the water tank in the dishwasher. To
clean the water tank, proceed as follows:
1.
Remove the cup tray from the top of the machine.
2.
Pull out the water tank upwards using both hands.
3.
Empty the water tank over a sink and clean with warm water, a food-
safe washing-up liquid, and a soft cloth.
4.
Dry the outside of the water tank using a dry, soft cloth.
5.
Insert the water tank.
6.
Put the cup tray back.
11.6
Emptying the boiler
If the machine is not going to be used for a relatively long stretch of time, it
should be emptied. Even with frequent use, the boiler water should be emptied
every 1-2 weeks and replenished.
1.
Allow the machine to start up until the set brew temperature and steam
temperature are shown on the display.
