10. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Installation
1° check the presence of 230v
2° check the motors are correctly
connected
3° programming the working time
4° automatic opener use at this step
when you connect the mains supply, the small
green led on the board flashes
relock
perform a memorisation (reset (green led
flashes), P1/SET for 1s or 2s) the green led lights up the reset button, check for the presence of the

The leaves open a few degrees

Caution:
An automatic opener will not do better than you.
If you have difficulty to close the gate with strong
wind, even you cannot do it because your gate
has a high wind load, an automatic opener will not
be a solution. A too powerful automatic opener
will not obviously observe safety standards with
normal operation (no wind)
Advice:
In a windy area, correct preferably the VR3 and
VR5 settings. A wind blast lasts approximately 2s,
you could authorise your automatic opener to not
necessarily stop at the slightest slowing down.

will disappear after a few uses, and after having
been fixed on the leaves. When installing use a
12v or 9v type 6F22 battery.

shunt on the STP terminals and
check for the proper connection of the
motor(s) on the board, and check the wires
(above all if there is a distribution box)
close(s) reverse the polarity of the relevant
motor
verse the MOT1 and the MOT2.
MOT1 opens first, MOT2 closes first .
One (the) leaf(ves) stop(s) in the middle of the
cycle.
- There is an obstacle (stone etc..): remove the
obstacle.
- Check the gudgeons are correctly lubricated
and that there is no strong points.
- The settings are too low: correct the
settings of Force(VR1), of OBS(VR3), and of
sensitivity(VR5)
(Note:
the Force setting acts on the power and the
speed the OBS setting acts on the reaction time
to the obstacle the Sensitivity setting adjusts
the sensitivity threshold to the obstacle)
Finalize your settings with a memorisation.
cells. For safety measure, the board prohibits
the automatic closure if the photoelectric cells
are not installed. It is not useful to make a shunt
(practice used on other automatic openers), to
simulate the presence of the photoelectric cells,
they have a self-test (see chap 6).
