Enregistrer sur une cassette
@ Thisdeck is equipped with an auto-reverse function, when recording
finishes in the » direction, recording automatically starts recording
in the <4 direction. If you only want to record on one side of the
tape, record in the <4 direction, or break off the accidental erasure
prevention tab on the side you don't want to record on.

Use a TYPE I (normal) or TYPE II (HIGH/CrOz) tapes. TYPE IV
(METAL) tapes cannot be used.
1. Press the TAPE function button.
2. Insert the tape to be recorded in TAPE Il.
Wind the tape forward pass the leader to the start of the magnetic
coated portion.
3. Push the DOLBY NR switching button to select
the ON/OFF state of the Dolby NR function.
The ON and OFF states alternate each time this button is pressed.
The DO indicator lights when it is ON.

4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (< or >) of the
direction you want to record.
The indicator in the display shows the direction in which recording
will start.
Press the STOP (m) button after choosing the recording direction.
5. Press one of the AUX, TUNER or CD inputfunction
button of the main unit to select the component
to be recorded.
(If you selected CD, input function then press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to pause the CD player.)
6. Press the REC/STOP button to start recording.
Ifyouselected CD, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
The REC indicator (@) lights during recording.
7. Play the program source to be recorded.

To stop recording:
Press the REC/STOP button.

Inthe recording mode, the input source cannot be changed.
@ Sound monphing is turned off during recording.
e This unit automatically sets the recording level by ALC (Auto Level
Control) function.

<4. Sivous voulez seulement enregistrer
sur une seule face de la cassette, faites-le dans le sens <4, ou faites
sauter la languette de protection contre |'effacement accidentel de la
face sur laquelle vous ne voulez pas enregistrer.
e Utilisez des cassettes de TYPE | (normal) ou de TYPE Hl (HIGH/Cr02).
Vous ne pouvez pas utiliser les cassettes de TYPE IV (METAL).
1. Appuyez sur la touche de fonction TAPE.
2. Introduisez la cassette a enregistrer dans TAPE II.
Avancez la bande au-dela de l'amorcejusqu'a ce que vous atteignez
le début de la partie magnétisée.
3. Appuyez sur la touche de sélection DOLBY NR pour
mettre la fonction DOLBY NR sur ON ou sur OFF.
A chaque appui sur la touche, ON et OFF alternent comme suit.
Le voyant O0 s'aliume lorsque la fonction est mis sur ON.

4. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (< ou Pm) qui
correspondausensdanslequel
vous voulez enregistrer.

Appuyez sur la touche STOP (m™) aprés sélection du sens de
l'enregistrement.
5, Appuyez sur la touche de fonction AUX, TUNER
ou CD del'appareil principal afin de sélectionnerle

6. Appuyez sur la touche REC/STOP afin de
commencer I'enregistrement.
Si vous avez sélectionné CD, appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE
afin de commencer la lecture.
Le voyant REC (@) s'allume pendant l'enregistrement.
7. Passez la source du programme a enregistrer.

Pour arréter !'enregistrement:
Appuyez sur la touche REC/STOP.
e@ Enmode enregistrement, vous ne pouvez pas changer de source d'entrée.

La fonction de manipulation de son est désactivée pendant
l'enregistrement.
e Cet appareil régle automatiquement le niveau d'enregistrement
avec la fonction ALC (Automatic Level Control).
