TUNING INTO STATIONS
Beat cut function
If noise occurs during AM broadcast recording, perform the following
procedures to reduce the noise.
1. Turn off the power.
2. During standby, press the REC/STOP button
for more than 3 seconds (The Beat cut indicator
lights on the right side of the MONO indicator).
@ To cancel the BEAT CUT function, repeat steps 1 and 2.
MEMORIZING STATIONS
Manual presetting
e@ Up to 24 FM/AM stations can be memorized at random.
e@ For FM reception, the MONO setting can be memorized.
Example: To memorize AM 954 kHz as preset station 3
1. Select AM with the Tuner function button.
2. Tune in the desired station by pressing the <<,
Mé<¢ (—) or (+) >>1, >> button.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE button.

4. Select the station number to be memorized by
pressing the <<, << (~) or (+) >>, >> button.
Operate while the display is flashing.
5. Press PLAY/PAUSE button.
Operate while the display is flashing (it flashes for approx. 2
seconds),
The displayed frequency is stored in the selected station No.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 to memorize up to 24 stations.

RECHERCHER DES STATIONS
Fonction suppression de battement (Beat Cut)
S'il y a du bruit pendant une émission AM, effectuez la procédure
suivante pour réduire le bruit.
1. Mettez l'appareil hors tension.
2. En position stand-by (veille), appuyez plus de
3 secondes sur la touche REC/STOP (le voyant
Beat cut s'allume a droite du voyant MONO).
@ Pour mettre fin a la fonction BEAT CUT, répétez les étapes 1
et 2.
MEMORISER DES STATIONS
Préréglage manuel
@ Vous pouvez mémoriser aléatoirement jusqu'a 24 stations.
@ Pour les stations FM, vous pouvez mémorisez le réglage MONO.
Exemple: Pour mémoriser AM 954 kHz sous le numéro
de
station préréglée 3
1. Sélectionnez AM avecla touche de fonction Tuner.
2. Réglez sur la station souhaitée en appuyant sur la
touche <<, << (-) ou (+) >>, PP.
3. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE.
4. Sélectionnez le numéro de station 4 mémoriser
en appuyant sur la touche <<, 44 (-) ou (+) >>",
>>.
Actionnez la touche pendant que I'affichage clignote.
5. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE.
Actionnez la touche pendant que I'affichage clignote (il clig, ote
pendant environ 2 secondes).
La fréquence qui apparait al'écran est mémorisée sous le num €ro
de station sélectionné.
Répétez les étapes de 1 4 4 pour mémoriser jusqu'a 24 statiens.
