4. Finally, plug the power cord into the AC wall
outlet.
NOTE:
Insert the plugs securely into the jacks. Improper connection can lead
to sound distortion or matfunction.
Optical digital jack connection (XR-A600 only)

Connect to a component (DAT, MD etc.) that has an optical digital
input jack.
e Connect the optical output jack and optical input jack of the
connecting component with an optical fiber cable.
@ Although a separately sold optical fibre cable is used for optical
digital jack connection, only components that use the same type
of optical transmission/reception module as this unit can be
connected.
ANTENNA CONNECTIONS
Radio reception is not possible unless the antenna is properly
connected.
The strength of broadcast signals varies from one area to another.
Signal propagation is especially poor in metropolitan areas, where
there are many tall buildings and in mountainous areas. Proper
antenna installation is vital to good reception.
FM ANTENNA

Stretch the antenna and affix it to a wall, ete.
External FM antenna installation
Use an external antenna when the signals from the stations are weak
and cannot be picked up by the accessory FM antenna, or when the
sound heard is accompanied by too much noise.
Connect a 75 Q coaxial cable.

REMARQUE :
Introduisez bien les fiches dans les prises jack. Un raccordement

Raccorder la sortie optique et l'entrée optique du composant a
connecter a I'aide d'un cable en fibre optique.

Bien qu'un cable en fibre optique, non fourri, soit utilisé pour un
raccordement a une prise jack optique numérique, seuls les
composants disposant d'un module de transmission/réception
optique du méme type que celui de cet appareil peuvent étre
raccordés.

ANTENNE FM

Etirez l'antenne et accrochez-la au mur, etc.
Instaltation d'une antenne FM externe
Utilisez une antenne externe lorsque les signaux en provenance des
stations sont faibles et ne peuvent pas étre captés par l'antenne=M
accessoire, ou s'il y a trop de parasites.
Raccordez un cable coaxial de 75 Q.
