Danger of death due to electrical current!
The voltage of the external power supply is also present when the main
switch is switched off!
• Disconnect the plug from the power supply before carrying out any

Cause
No power supply
Motor without power supply
Pump blocked, motor hums
Fault indication on control device
Start-up pressure is set too low
Negative suction head too high
Negative suction head too high
Suction filter/strainer/foot valve clogged
Motor circuit breaker tripped
Small leakage or stop valve defective
Very low draw-off quantity or small leakage
Mechanical seal is defective
Blockage due to sediment on the valve seat
Motor no longer fits correctly on the valve
Level sensor sends incorrect signal to the control
device because the cable is damaged or the level
sensor is blocked in the rainwater storage tank.

Remedy
Check fuse protection/circuit breakers on the
control panel, check connections and power sup-
ply cable, then restart the system.
Set the switch on the pump to ON.
Check the power supply plug of the motor for cor-
rect fit.
Disconnect the power supply (disconnect the
mains plug from the power supply), check the
shaft rotates easily in a de-energised state.
Contact customer service.
Troubleshooting.
Read the error message and rectify the cause of
the error.
Correct the start-up pressure.
Check the water level in the rainwater storage
tank or replenishment reservoir.
Check water level.
Clean the foot valve filter or strainer in the rain-
water storage tank.
Allow to cool down and restart.
Close the drainage pipe before starting
troubleshooting.
Check the sealing points and seal if necessary.
Check shut-off devices and replace if necessary.
Retrofit a diaphragm expansion tank behind the
pump (provided by the consumer)
Replace pump.
Carry out a visual inspection of the valve. Dis-
mantle and clean the valve, if necessary.
Check fit and correct if necessary.
Check contacts or carry out visual inspection.
Set the operating mode correctly on the control
panel.
