The cable is now firmly anchored in the plug.
The integrator output supplies the current signal value as an analog
voltage (max. 1 V). In the ANALOG OUT menu the signal can be scaled
in 16 steps (see ANALOG OUT Menu on page 16). The integrator output
is connected to other instruments with the analog connection cable
(Cinch-Cinch) or other special connection cables (not supplied with the
detector).
The signal output of the RI detector can either be grounded via the two
outputs „GROUND" or the shielding of the analog output. The device's
ground is not connected to the signal ground. Signal grounding should be
performed preferably via the analog output to the grounded integrator.
A multiple connection to ground (simultaneous grounding via GROUND
and analog output) has to be avoided. It could induce noise loops that
may lead to disturbed measurement results.
