Disassembly
Remove with a socket wrench
Remove the trap unit
Remove with a scraper without
scratching the seating surface of
the trap body.
Remove with a socket wrench
Remove by lifting up and off
Remove the connector
Remove the gasket and clean
sealing surfaces
Lift straight up and out while
rocking slowly
Remove, being careful not to
scratch the polished surface
Remove with a socket wrench
Remove the gasket and clean
sealing surfaces
Remove with a socket wrench
Remove the gasket and clean
sealing surfaces
Remove with a socket wrench
Remove the gasket and clean
sealing surfaces
Remove with needle-nose pliers

Reassembly
Consult the table of tightening
torques and tighten to the
proper torque
Follow the special instructions
below (Fig. A)
Make sure there are no pieces of
the old gasket left on the sealing
surfaces of the body and then
reattach; Be careful not to drop
the new gasket
Consult the table of tightening
torques and tighten to the
proper torque
Make sure there are no pieces of
the old gasket on the sealing
surfaces, align the cover with
the body and connector and
reattach
Reinsert it into hole in body
Replace with a new gasket
Align the arrows on the oat
cover/screen and the body,
insert with the tab* on the
bottom tting into the slot in the
body; make sure the screen
does not stick out out of the
body (Fig. B)
Insert, being careful not to
scratch the polished surface
Consult the table of tightening
torques and tighten to the
proper torque
Replace with a new gasket; coat
surfaces with anti-seize
Consult the table of tightening
torques and tighten to the
proper torque
Replace with a new gasket; coat
surfaces with anti-seize
Consult the table of tightening
torques and tighten to the
proper torque
Replace with new gasket; coat
surfaces with anti-seize
Insert securely into the
connector body
