5.3 Note for Screwed Connection
CAUTION
When products with screwed connections are
installed on horizontal piping, there is a danger that
the weight of the trap unit will cause the connector
body to rotate on the pipe, putting the trap
mechanism out of the horizontal plane. To prevent
this, tighten the screws securely. In cases where the
product is affected by vibrations or by external
contact, it is recommended that the trap unit should
be supported to prevent rotation (sample support
shown to the right).
