Configuring the Water Management Server
Configuring hygiene functions
2.5 Configuring hygiene functions
2.5.1
Always follow generally recognised codes of practice when using and pro-
gramming the Water Management System.
The hygiene functions are configured using the "Hygiene" menu item.
Appropriate parameters must be chosen to match the stagnation flushes and
thermal disinfections to the respective drinking water installation.
The procedure for setting both functions is similar and involves three steps:
1. Selecting subscribers (fittings/groups)
2. Configuring hygiene functions
3. Saving hygiene functions
The configured stagnation flushes are carried out automatically. Thermal disin-
fections and cleaning stops are triggered from the "Manual Operation" menu
item or via the programmed input.

Advice on configuring hygiene functions
Important information when using leak protection fittings
When configuring your hygiene flushes, always ensure that the correspond-
ing leak protection fittings are selected as subscribers. If a leak protection
fitting is available, this will be preselected by the system.
As a first step, select the subscribers (individual fittings or a group) for the
relevant stagnation flush and apply this selection.
