The corresponding settings can be configured with the "Network – Ethernet

SCHELL service technicians use this menu item to configure the connection to
the SMART.SWS platform.
MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a messaging protocol that
allows devices to publish and subscribe to messages. A typical MQTT config-
uration comprises the following elements:
1 Broker:
The MQTT broker is a server that receives messages and forwards these to cor-
responding clients. The broker is responsible for managing a list of active clients
and their subscriptions.
2 Clients:
These are the devices that connect to the broker, and publish or subscribe to
messages. A client can be anything from a simple sensor to a smartphone or
computer.
3 Topics:
Topics are used to organise messages and to determine which clients receive the
messages. Clients can register for one or more topics and the broker then forwards
messages with matching topics to these clients.
