The Water Management Server has four configurable digital inputs and four
digital outputs. Initially, all four inputs are factory-set to be static inputs.
» Set each input type according to the requirements of your drinking water
installation.
Static: A switch is connected to the respective connection (constant signal).
Edge-controlled: A button is connected to the respective connection (re-
quired pulse length approx. 1 s). After the pulse, there is a time window avail-
able for the corresponding action.

» Give the input a name.
The name and type of the input are shown in the second line for information
purposes.

Three QoS levels, which determine the level of reliability for message delivery.
MQTT uses port 1883 for unencrypted communication and port 8883 for en-
crypted (TLS) communication.
MQTT offers options for securing communication by using a username/password
and/or TSL/SSL encryption.
