2.3 Identifying the fittings
In the context of commissioning the SWS network, the detected fittings are
shown in the device list with consecutive numbering.
To obtain an overview of the Water Management System and ensure an ap-
propriate system setup, the individual fittings in the system must first be de-
tected and given meaningful names.
2.3.1
Detecting fittings
To detect the fittings, you can open them manually using the SWS applica-
tion, so as to identify the relevant fitting on site by the flow of water.
However, the serial numbers of the connected SWS bus extenders are also
stored in the SWS application. If you note the serial numbers of the SWS bus
extenders on your piping diagram during installation, you can identify the
fitting and installation location by comparing details with the information in
the SWS application.

You can use a valve test to identify the fitting on site.
