Installation

You are advised to use components and accessories from the Bosch ST product range when
installing the ADW 511A heat detection system.
7.1

Installing the detector box

Please observe the following points when installing the detector box:

– Do not install the detector box in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
– Fit the detector box inside a protective box when installing it outside or in a tunnel.
– The detector box can be mounted anywhere, although it must be a minimum dis-
tance of 0.1 m from switching boxes, recesses etc. on the sensor tube connection
side.
– Wherever possible, the detector box should be installed in an easily accessible loca-
tion to enable work to be performed on it without the use of tools such as ladders,
scaffolding etc.
