How to use

5.1

Equipment

You will need the following accessories to use the product:
• A pump cartridge (REF No. 20150-300 or 20150-301)
• separating medium: to select the suitable separating medi-
um please read the pump cartridge manual
• possibly commercial dye
5.2

Information on the use of dyes

The criteria specified by Erbe in this section for selecting suitable
dyes relate to instrument compatibility and ensure that such
dyes do not damage either the instrument or the pump cartridge.
In this regard, suitable dyes must be:
• approved as a medical device or as a medication for injec-
tion/infusion.
• suitable for use with injection equipment and infusion sets.
• free of solvents.
• compatible with the other substances used, e.g., the sepa-
rating medium.
The user is responsible for selecting a dye that is suitable for the
planned use and for the instrument. Using the dye correctly as
described in the information supplied by the manufacturer is
also the responsibility of the user.

Checking the expiration date

The expiration date is indicated on the packaging. Do not use this
product if the expiration date has been exceeded!
