How to use

4.1

Factors affecting the service life

The following factors can shorten the service life of the product
considerably:
• scratching/damaging the insulation and/or coagulation
surfaces during the operation (e.g. caused by other instru-
ments)
• failure to remove dried coagulation remnants from the sur-
faces during the operation
• incorrect procedure when cleaning the product during and
after the operation
4.2

Only use sterile products

Clean, disinfect and sterilize the product before using it for the
first time and before every subsequent use.
4.3

Checking the product

WARNING! Check the product before use for external damage.
You must observe the instructions in the chapter "Check". Do not
use this product if it is damaged.
4.4

Connecting the product and selecting the effect

Note: On a VIO 300 D, the BiClamp upgrade must be installed.
Note: The BiClamp 20195-200 and the BiClamp 21195-200
must only be used on a VIO 300 D from software version V 1.4.1.
Once the connecting cable is plugged in, the product is automat-
ically detected by the unit. Some presettings are carried out au-
tomatically on the unit.
