The electrode needle of the HybridKnife can be retracted and ex-
tended in several stages. The slide switch on the handle is used
to do so. The slide switch noticeably engages at each stage:
• Slide switch in rear (proximal) end position = the electrode
needle is fully retracted
• Slide switch in front (distal) end position = the electrode nee-
dle is fully extended, approx. 4.5 mm
• To position the electrode needle, first always extend it fully
and then retract to the required position.
