15.4 Configuring the product
The monitor/DVR must be switched on. It must also be connected to your network via LAN and to the Internet.
Use the network status to check whether the connection is set up correctly. If you have not done so already, log
in to the monitor/DVR to proceed.
For wireless configuration, your smartphone should be connected to the same network to which the monitor/DVR
is connected via LAN.
Important: Please note that only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported.
You can add a new device manually by tapping "+" (A14) on the top right of the app's main page and selecting the
device you want to add. Otherwise, tap the blue button (A4) below in the middle.
There are two ways to add the wireless surveillance
system in the app. You can do so by scanning the QR
code on the screen or via automatic recognition.
Adding via QR code
To add the monitor/DVR via the QR code, tap the but-
ton at the top right (arrow in the picture).
Move the cursor in the middle of the monitor/DVR in
the main display showing the cameras to the top. Two
QR codes will appear.
Use your smartphone to scan the QR code on the left,
which appears as the serial number.
After reading the QR code, the system searches for the
new device and sets it up. The process may take a few
minutes.
Skip to the next screen and continue when the setup
is complete.
Automatic adding
When the new device is found automatically, it appears
on the display as shown in the figure.
Tap the blue button next to it (square in the screenshot).
To add the device, tap "+" next to it (square in the
screenshot).
The device will be connected automatically. The pro-
cess may take a few minutes.
