10.2 Inserting a microSD card
You can save your recordings on a microSD card, which should be inserted before you continue operation. mi-
croSD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards up to 128 GB are supported.
You should switch off the monitor/DVR before inserting or changing the card. Neither recording nor playback is
allowed. Switch off the monitor first. Failure to observe this can damage the memory card's file system, whereby
existing recordings will be permanently lost.
Insert the microSD card (contact pins first) into the SD card slot (F) until the card snaps into place. The SD card
should be oriented with the contacts facing the display.
To remove the microSD card, push it further into the slot until it unlocks from its mechanical lock. Then pull the
card out of the card slot (F).
10.3 Setting up/connecting the wireless mouse
First remove the battery compartment lid of the wireless mouse.
Insert two AAA/Micro batteries into the battery compartment, paying attention to the correct polarity (observe
positive/+ and negative/-). The respective figure in the battery compartment will help you ensure that you have
the correct polarity.
A wireless mouse receiver may not be included separately and can be found in the battery compartment. In this
case, remove the receiver.
Close the battery compartment again.
Finally, connect the wireless mouse receiver to either of the two USB Type-A ports on the monitor (D).
10.4 Connecting the monitor/DVR
Only the LAN connection can be used to integrate the monitor into your network. A network connection is re-
quired to use the app.
To connect the monitor via LAN, connect the RJ45 port (E) of the monitor to a free network connection of your
router or network switch using a 1-to-1 network cable. You can also use the cable supplied with the camera.
Take the monitor power adapter (larger one, supplied with the camera, 12 V/DC 2 A, see nameplate).
Insert the low-voltage round plug of the power adapter into the corresponding socket (C) of the monitors/DVR.
Plug the power adapter into a standard mains socket connected to the public grid.
The monitor/DVR powers on automatically when the power adapter is plugged in.
The status LED (H) lights up permanently in green.
Use the on/off button (G) to switch the monitor to standby or to switch off the display. Press it again to switch
on the display.
