of a fatal electric shock!
The wireless camera is now ready for use.

12 Initial setup

Please note!
A hard disk/SSD and a microSD card must be formatted in the monitor/DVR before the first use. Formatting
is initiated automatically after powering on with a brief delay and can be cancelled.
All data will thus be lost!
Below you will find general information on operating the monitor/DVR.
Just like a PC, the monitor/DVR is operated with the mouse. Use the left mouse button to select menu items or
confirm inputs.
Use the right mouse button to enter the settings menu in the main display (where camera images are displayed).
You can also use the right mouse button to close the active menu window.

12.1 Getting started

The monitor/DVR powers on automatically when connected to the power supply.
With a hard disk/SSD and/or a microSD card installed, the formatting wizard is initiated automatically during
start-up.
Wait for the timer to run out or confirm the formatting with the left mouse button. Wait until the formatting is com-
pleted. Finally, confirm with OK.
The configuration wizard is also displayed during start-up.

12.2 Configuration wizard

12.2.1 First and second page of the wizard
Carefully read the information on both pages and click on "Next". When the initial setup is complete, the wizard
appears again after the reboot. You can read the information again in the language of choice.
