2 Introduction

3 Intended use

This product is designed to monitor and protect secluded or secure areas (e.g. entrance areas, driveways and un-
derground car parks).
The video signal of the supplied camera is transmitted wirelessly to a monitor/DVR via Wi-Fi. The video signal can be
recorded on a microSD card (max. 128 GB) or hard disk/SSD (max. 8 TB) (both not included).
Advanced settings can be made in the "Smart Life – Smart Living" app. It can be installed on a smartphone or tablet
with Android or Apple iOS operating system. A free account is required to use the app. It must be created during

the initial app setup.
The app enables you to take pictures and videos that are saved directly in the app on your smartphone or tablet via
Wi-Fi. During the configuration process, the camera is integrated into your existing Wi-Fi network.
Please note that it is a criminal offence to use the camera to observe third persons without their knowledge and con-
sent. Always observe the rules and regulations of the country where you use the camera.
The product is powered by two power adapters (included).
The monitor is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture must be avoided under all
circumstances. The camera has an IP65 protection class and is thus suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. Improper product use can
cause a short circuit, fire, electric shock, other hazards.
This product complies with statutory, national and European regulations. For safety and approval purposes, you must
not rebuild and/or modify the product.
Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Always provide these operating instructions when
giving the product to a third party.
