Below the navigation bar is the timeline. The current video is highlighted in green. You can use the mouse to

quickly change the current position in the video by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the timeline.
At the bottom right you will find four buttons for "zooming" the timeline to a shorter time span.
To exit playback mode, click on the right mouse button and select the topmost item. The other two items enable

you to stop playback and switch to the full-screen mode.

14.3 Backup function - saving videos to a USB storage device

Connect a USB storage device to one of the two USB ports.

Please note! Only USB storage devices formatted to "FAT32" are supported. Formatting can be performed
directly on the unit with memory management. See section 12.4.
Click on the right mouse button and select the topmost item in the menu that appears to switch to the main menu.

The system settings can be accessed via the button with the cogwheel symbol on the left.

Now click on the green button above in the middle with the square symbol with shadow on the right. The backup/

copy function menu will open.
If you do not see your USB storage device, click on the button at the top right to have it recognised. The system

will search for the USB storage device, which will appear in the list on the left.
Select the USB drive by checking the corresponding checkbox and then click on the second button from the top

on the right to open the backup menu.
Use the third button from the top to delete the USB drive, if necessary.
If the USB storage device is improperly formatted, you will be prompted to reformat it when entering the backup
menu.
You should select the recording type at the top and then the desired channel.

Then set the start and end date and the start and end time. To do so, click on the corresponding number, e.g. on

the start time, and enter the new day in two digits with the mouse. Now click on the window to apply changes.
After selecting the time, click on the button next to the end time to add the selection to the list below.

The button above clears the list below.
