6.1.5

Tension of the V-belt

The tension of the V-belt has to be checked from time to time and has to be retightened if necessary.
Loosen all three screws (1) on the motor.
•
Loosen counter nut (4).
•
• Set the right tension for the V-belt (3) by tightening the timing bolt (2).
Retighten the screws (1) on the engine and counter nut (4).
•
The tension of the chain and the tension of the V-belt has always to be checked and altered at
the same time!
6.2

Repairs

Only persons with the appropriate knowledge and ability are allowed to repair the device.
Before the device is used again, it has to be checked by an expert.
