The couplings are adjusted as follows:
Gear in suction head
1. Turn off the power to the CPU and stop the blower.
2. Remove the left cover on the suction head (seen
from front).
3. Tighten the coupling by turning the coupling ring
clockwise.
4. Loosen the coupling by turning the coupling ring
anticlockwise.
5. Check the operation of the telescopic pipe.
6. Attach the cover on the suction head.
Gear in column
1. Turn off the power to the CPU and stop the blower.
2. Remove the upper back plate on the column.
3. Tighten the couplings by turning the coupling ring
clockwise.
4. Loosen the couplings by turning the coupling ring
anticlockwise.
5. Check the operation of the telescopic pipe.
6. Attach the back plate on the column.

The CPU does not contain any parts that require spe-
cial service or maintenance, but can be cleaned on
outer surfaces if needed. Furthermore, it may be nec-
essary to wipe the telescopic pipe, by fully extending it,
and wipe it with a suitable detergent.
The traction required for the CPU to slip in the clutch
is 10 kg when telescopic pipe is fully raised, and 6 kg
when it is fully lowered.

blower.
