Error and warning messages

The sensor distinguishes between error and warning
messages.
Warning messages indicate that the sensor is in a critical
state. In the 0x6505 Warnings-object the various warning
messages can be read out. The BMD CANopen warning
message shows the error codes for the various warning
messages. As soon as the sensor is again in the specified
operating condition, this warning automatically expires. A
warning message is a first indicator of improper use of the
sensor and should be taken seriously.
When an error occurs in the system the position signal is
no longer reliable. When an error occurs multiple times, the
sensor and its surroundings must be thoroughly checked.

When an error occurs the position signal is
set to the maximum value (0xFFFF)!
In this state the measurement data are no
longer reliable.
