Operation
Profiles
The Hei-TORQUE Ultimate type devices provide the option of storing multiple consec-
utive process steps (ramps) as a profile in the system memory. Open the
profile
submenu from the Device menu to create or edit user-defined profiles.
The signs and symbols used on the user-interface are explained in detail in section
"Symbols of the graphic user interface" on page 74, the function of the push-and-ro-
tary control is explained in section "Hei-TORQUE Ultimate push-and-rotary control" on
page 59.
Each ramp is defined by the
Time = 00:02
Rotation = 200
1st step:
Ramp = gentle
Time = 00:03
Rotation = 400
2nd step:
Ramp = gentle
Time = 01:00
Rotation = 400
3rd step:
Ramp = jump
The
time of the profile, i.e., the specified time for a following process
step must always be at least one minute later than that of the
current step.
Exception: Profile end.

The display switches to the rotational speed automatically: use the push-and-rotary
control to set the required speed and press the push-and-rotary control to confirm
the input.

The display switches to Ramp mode automatically. Use the push-and-rotary control
to specify the required ramp mode: gradual or abrupt, see also section "Symbols of
the graphic user interface" on page 74.

The display switches to the next ramp automatically. Determine the values for this
ramp in the described way.
