Troubleshooting
Apical Reverse function cannot be switched on.
Possible causes
• No connection between Propex IQ
Locator and X-Smart IQ
• Wrong cable connection.
• Cable or connector damaged.

Solutions
• Ensure proper connection of the cables
between Propex IQ
®
the X-Smart IQ Handpiece.
• Ensure that all cables are original and
undamaged.
• Connect X-Smart IQ
benefit from Apical Reverse function.
• Ensure that X-Smart IQ
firmware is the latest version available
(updated for Propex IQ
feature).
• Switch ON the feature on the Endo IQ
App and retry.
• Perform a factory reset.
• Contact Dentsply Sirona Endodontics
Customer Service.

• Allow the device to cool down and start
again.
• Check for possible leakage from
