S électionnez le point 05 du groupe B (point bouton).

Montez le pied bouton.
Placez le curseur pour soulever et abaisser le transpor-
teur sur la position pour abaisser le transporteur.

P lacez le tissu sous le pied. Placez le bouton à l' e ndroit

souhaité et abaissez le pied de biche.
Sélectionnez la largeur de point entre « 2.5– 4.5 » selon

l' é cart entre les deux trous du bouton.
T ournez le volant manuellement pour vérifier que l'ai-

guille s' e nfonce vraiment dans les deux trous du bouton.
Avant de commencer à coudre, appuyez sur la touche
➎
de point de finition automatique. Ainsi des points de
sécurité seront automatiquement effectués en début et
en fin de couture.
Pour que le bouton reste libre, placez une aiguille à
repriser sur le bouton avant de commencer à coudre.
S i le bouton a quatre trous, cousez tout d'abord les deux
➏
trous avant puis déplacez le tissu avec le bouton sur les
deux autres trous et recommencez.

S elect the pattern 05 from the Group Patterns "B" to get

the button sewing stitch.
Change the presser foot to the button sewing foot.
Move the drop feed lever to to lower the feed dogs.

P osition the work under the foot. Place the button in

the desired position, lower the foot.
Adjust the stitch width to "2.5 – 4.5" according to the

distance between the two holes of the button.
T urn the handwheel to check that the needle goes
➍
cleanly into the left and right holes of the button.
Before sewing, press the Auto-lock button to sew rein-
➎
forcement stitches automatically at the beginning and at
the end of the stitch.
If a shank is required, place a darning needle on top of
the button and sew.
F or buttons with 4 holes, sew through the front two
➏
holes first, push work forward and then sew through
the back two holes.

Knopen aannaaien
Kies steekpatroon 05 uit groep B (knoopaannaaisteek).
➊
Knoopaannaaivoet plaatsen.
Schakelaar voor het omhoog of omlaag zetten van de
transporteur op zetten om de transporteur omlaag

te zetten.
Leg de stof onder de persvoet. Knop op de gewenste

positie zetten en de persvoet omlaag zetten.
Steekbreedte op "2.5 –4.5" instellen, overeenkomstig de

afstand tussen de twee gaten in de knoop.
Handwiel met de hand draaien en controleren

of de naald precies in het linker- en rechterknoopsgat
stikt.
Druk voor het naaien op de knop voor automatisch
➎
afhechten. Zo worden automatische afhechtsteken
genaaid aan het begin en bij het einde.
Om een steeltje op de knoop te krijgen, legt u voor het
naaien een stopnaald op de knoop.
Bij knopen met 4 gaten eerst de bovenste twee naaien
➏
en dan de procedure herhalen bij de andere twee gaten.
