Montaggio componenti kit
(Versioni Scrambler 800)
Importante
Verificare, prima del montaggio, che tutti i componenti risultino
puliti e in perfetto stato. Adottare tutte le precauzioni necessarie
per evitare di danneggiare qualsiasi parte nella quale ci si trova ad
operare.
Montaggio manopola riscaldata sinistra
Verificare che il cavo cablaggio (1B) sia correttamente inserito
nell'apposita sede anteriore della manopola riscaldata sinistra (1),
come mostrato in figura. Montare la manopola (1) inserendola sul
manubrio (N) e fissarla impuntando le n.2 viti (1A) nei fori (N1).
Attenzione
Accertarsi che il cavo (1B) non rimanga schiacciato tra manopola (1)
e commutatore sinistro (T).
Attenzione
Effettuare il serraggio delle n.2 viti autofilettanti (1A) esclusiva-
mente a mano, non utilizzare avvitatore automatico. Per evitare la
deformazione o il danneggiamento delle n.2 viti autofilettanti (1A)
avvitare fino a battuta senza eccedere e senza forzare, attenendosi
scrupolosamente alla coppia di serraggio indicata.
Introdurre il tappo manubrio (H), fino a battuta, nel manubrio (N).
Serrare la vite (G) alla coppia indicata.
Fascettare il cavo cablaggio commutatore sinistro, il tubo frizione,
il cavo cablaggio switch frizione e il cavo cablaggio (1B) manopola
riscaldata (1) al manubrio (N) utilizzando le n.2 fascette in gomma
originali (D), come mostrato in figura.
Fascettare il cavo cablaggio (1B) manopola riscaldata sinistra (1) al
cavo cablaggio blocco chiave, al cavo cablaggio commutatore sini-
stro, al cavo cablaggio switch frizione e al cavo cablaggio indicatore
direzione sinistro, utilizzando la fascetta in gomma originali (D1).

Assembling the kit components
(Scrambler 800 versions)
Important
Before assembling, check that all parts are clean and in good con-
ditions. Adopt all necessary precautions to avoid damaging any
part you are working on.
LH heated handgrip assembly
Check that the wiring cable (1B) is correctly inserted in the specific
front seat of the LH heated handgrip (1), as shown in the figure. Fit
handgrip (1) inserting it on handlebar (N) and fixing it by starting
no.2 screws (1A) into the holes (N1).
Warning
Make sure cable (1B) is not squeezed between handgrip (1) and LH
switch (T).
Warning
Tighten the 2 self-tapping screws (1A) only by hand, do not use
electric screwdrivers. To prevent the 2 self-tapping screws (1A)
from being deformed or damaged, screw them until fully home
without applying any excessive force, thoroughly complying with
the specified tightening torque.
Insert handlebar plug (H) fully home into the handlebar (N). Tight-
en screw (G) to the specified torque.
Tie LH switch wiring cable, clutch hose, clutch switch wiring cable
and heated handgrip (1) wiring cable (1B) to handlebar (N) using
no.2 original rubber ties (D), as shown in the figure.
Tie LH heated handgrip (1) wiring cable (1B) to ignition switch wir-
ing cable, to LH switch wiring cable, to clutch switch wiring cable
and to LH turn indicator wiring cable, using original rubber tie (D1).
