The second signal shows the test of all
devices connected to this smoke alarm
device with radio link of a radio group.
All smoke alarm devices with radio links
of this radio group give out a signal.
The third signal shows the test of all de-
vices that have a connection to a collecti-
ve radio group with this smoke alarm de-
vice with radio link/radio group. All smo-
ke alarm devices with radio links of the
collective radio group give out a signal.
Please note that this test must be car-
ried out separately for all other radio
groups connected with the collective
radio group.
This test needs to be repeated every 3-6
months in order to test the connection
between the radio group(s) and the col-
lective radio group.

Alarm forwarding /
alarm stop
1. When a smoke alarm device with radio
link of a radio group or collective radio
group sends out an alarm signal, this
alarm is forwarded after 20 seconds to
all other smoke alarm devices with ra-
dio links of the radio group or collective
radio group and sent out as alarm signal.
If the device, which is sending out the
alarm signal cannot reach all smoke
alarm devices with radio links of the
radio group or collective radio group
through a direct radio connection, for
instance due to the distance, the alarm
is forwarded from the accessible smo-
ke alarm devices with radio links to the
smoke alarm devices with radio links
of the radio or collective radio group
that have not been reached yet (repea-
ting-routing function).
2. If all smoke alarm devices with radio
links of a radio group connected to a
collective radio group send out an alarm,
then this alarm is forwarded with a mea-
sured delay of 60 seconds to the collecti-
ve radio group as well and therefore the
alarm signal can also be sent out by all
smoke alarm devices with radio links of
the collective radio group.
This alarm forwarding function is laid
exclusively in the direction of the radio
group (e.g. residence) to the collective
radio group (e.g. stairwell).
There is no alarm forwarding from a
collective radio group (stairwell) to one
or more radio groups connected with a
collective radio group (residence).

3. If a smoke alarm device with radio link
sends out an alarm and it is absolutely
clear that it is an alarm without any fire,
the forwarding to all other smoke alarm
devices with radio links in the same ra-
dio group or collective radio group can
be prevented by a soft touch on the test/
stop button (Illus. 1 point d).
In case the alarm has already been for-
warded to all other smoke alarm de-
vices with radio links of the radio group
or collective radio group, the test/stop
button of the device that originally sent
