After releasing the radio button (Illus.
6 point a), the radio LED goes into a
short yellow interval. This smoke alarm
device with radio link will now activate
the connection mode in all remaining
smoke alarm devices with radio links of
the radio group.
After 5-15 seconds, the result of the ac-
tivation of the connection mode for all
smoke alarm devices with radio links of
the existing radio group will be displayed:
successful activation of the connection
mode in all smoke alarm devices with
radio links of the radio group is displayed
through a green signal of the radio LED
after which all the alarm units of this ra-
dio group go into a regular, long, yellow
en
interval of the radio LED and will now
again be in connection mode for about
10 minutes.
In order to add more smoke alarm de-
vices with radio links in delivery conditi-
on to this radio group, please follow the
steps in section „Commissioning of more
smoke alarm devices with radio links,
connection mode and other setting up
of a radio group".
Removing assignment to a radio group and
resetting smoke alarm devices with radio links in
delivery condition
If a smoke alarm device with radio link
is assigned, for instance, to another radio
group, the saved information must first
be deleted and the device must be reset
in delivery condition.
1. Deactivate the smoke alarm device
with radio link completely by pulling out
the red activation button (Illus. 1 point a)
to the initial position (OFF). Then keep
the test/stop button (Illus. 1 point d)
pressed for 2-3 seconds.
2. Keep the radio button (Illus. 6 point
a) pressed using the long thin pin end
of the activation fuse (Illus. 5) until the
radio LED shines. Let go of the button
immediately.
3. After the releasing the radio but-
ton for about 3 seconds, the radio LED
shows a green signal, which indicates that
the smoke alarm device with radio link is
again in delivery condition.
4. The remaining devices in the wire-
less network have to be reset to their
delivery state. The wireless network
with the reduced number of devices
can be set up once again. Please follow
the instructions in the following chapter
„Commissioning of the first smoke alarm
device with radio link, master function
and setting up a radio group".
