Electrical connection
Dangerous electrical voltage
Possibility of cardiac arrhythmia, burns, shock!
"
The electrical connection may only be made by a skilled electri
cian who observes the valid safety regulations, the mains voltage
and the maximum current consumption of the plant sections.
"
Use suitable, insulated tools for all electrical connection work.
"
Use appropriate fuses for the mains system.
E.g. fuses or main switches with overcurrent tripping are required
as current-limiting protective elements.
Insufficient PE conductor system
Reduction of personal/plant safety!
"
The product must be connected to the PE conductor system of the
plant correctly.
Make sure that the conductor cross-section of the PE conductor is
"
of sufficient size.
The electrical continuity of the PE conductor system must be veri
"
fied in accordance with EN 62135 Part 1 and EN 60204-1.
Insufficient emergency–stop/emergency-halt facilities
Reduction of personal/plant safety!
"
Emergency–stop/emergency-halt facilities must be active and
within reach in all system modes.
Please note EN 62135-1 and EN 60204-1.
"
"
Releasing an emergency–stop/emergency-halt facility must not
result in an uncontrolled restart of the system.
"
Make sure that moving system elements are halted safely before
accessing the danger area of the system!
Check the proper functioning of the emergency-stop/emergency-
"
halt circuit prior to start-up.
