Intended use

The picture shows the test setup, with the
necessary components for the electric anchor stroke
measurement of Bosch Common Rail Injectors with a
solenoid valve.

The CRR 220 is intended exclusively for actuating
Bosch Common Rail Injectors with solenoid
valve. Optimal measurement results can only be
guaranteed when used with the voltage stabilizer
<Bosch order no: 1 687 022 873>.

Any other or additional use of the CRR 220 is
deemed to contravene the intended use. No liability
will be accepted for any consequential damage.
Warranty claims will not be accepted, in such cases.
You will find more details about using the device in
the appropriate Bosch repair instructions.

Electrical connection

The illustration shows a schematic view of the
electrical connection of the CRR 220.
As an option, the CRR 120 can be connected as
well. To do this, refer to the instructions specific to
the device.
6.1 Bosch voltage stabilizer
1 687 022 873
1. Use washers and an M4 nut to attach connecting
cable 1 684 466 078 to the protective-conductor
(PE) connection.
2. Use an M6 screw, spring washer and nut to
attach connecting cables 1 684 466 077 and
1 684 466 078 to the 24-V connection (-).
3. Connect the banana jack (black) to connecting
cable 1 687 466 077.
4. Use an M5 screw, spring washer and nut to attach
connecting cable 1 684 466 083 to the 24-V
connection (+).
5. Connect the banana jack (red) to connecting cable
1 687 466 083.
6. Use the connection cables (red/black) to connect
the CRR 120 to the banana jacks (red/black) on the
voltage stabilizer.
7. Use the connection cable (yellow) to connect the
CRR 120 to the banana jack (black) on the voltage
stabilizer.

Do not operate the CRR 220 while the protective
conductor (PE) is not connected.
