1 General safety instructions
HNotices for the target group
These installation instructions are intended for gas, plumbing, heating
and electrical contractors. All instructions must be observed. Failure to
comply with instructions may result in material damage and personal
injury, including danger to life.
▶ Read the installation, service and commissioning instructions (heat
source, heating controller, pumps, etc.) before installation.
▶ Observe the safety instructions and warnings.
▶ Follow national and regional regulations, technical regulations and
guidelines.
▶ Record all work carried out.
HElectrical work
Electrical work must only be carried out by electrical installation
contractors.
Before starting electrical work:
▶ Isolate all poles of the mains voltage and secure against
reconnection.
▶ Make sure the mains voltage is disconnected.
▶ Before touching live parts: Wait at least 5 minutes to discharge the
capacitors.
▶ Observe the wiring diagrams of other system components as well.

These instructions describe the connection of the KSB pumps Calio and
Calio-Si dual to different controls.

Electrical connections

▶ Observe the documents of the pumps for connecting.
▶ Observe the documents and wiring diagram of the main controllers.
The pump must be connected to an external power supply (main power
connection). In the main controller, it must not be connected to the
terminals of the pump or to the main power connection of the main
controller!

Earthing
The pump can be connected to the power supply via the pre-configured
electrical power cables [1].
External control can be established via the connection for control line [2].
