The switching pressures are checked using the pressure gauge (1). A tolerance of 10% is
acceptable. The pressure in the air tank may not exceed the permitted operating pressure.
Risk of damage to pneumatic parts.
The pressure switch was set up by the manufacturer and any other changes to it
settings may be performed only by a qualified technician trained by the
manufacturer.
Compressor without dryer – when first started and placed into service, the compressor fills the air
tank (2) until the switching pressure and the pressure switch (4) turn off the compressor. The
compressor then operates in automatic mode, switching on and off depending on when compressed
air is needed (Fig. 1).

16. SWITCHING OFF THE COMPRESSOR

 The main switch (4) and pulling the mains plug is used to switch off the compressor to perform
service or for any other reason. This disconnects the compressor from the power.
 Vent the pressure in the air tank to zero by opening the drain valve.
