Operator Troubleshooting
To resolve problems:
1.
Write down the event message number that is shown in the message on the screen.
2.
Try to solve the problem by consulting the Troubleshooting Table.
3.
Switch the inserter off and on again, to verify system operation.
4.
When the error still occurs contact your service organization.
Troubleshooting
Symptom
The system cannot
be started after
switching on.
System stops with
envelope at insert po-
sition (flap not open).
When contacting the service organization, you will also be asked
for the last error message and the software package version of the
installed software. To determine the software package version,
see Software overview.
Possible cause
System not connec-
ted to mains.
Fuse is blown.
A cover is opened.
Envelopes stacked
reversed in the hop-
per.
Envelope flap sticks.
Wrong envelope type
used (not according
to specifications or
job settings).
Remedy
Connect the system
to the mains.
Replace fuse below
power switch.
Close the covers.
Check envelope feed
adjustments. Place
envelopes correctly in
hopper.
Store envelopes ac-
cording to specifica-
tions.
Change envelopes
according to specific-
ations.
