parabolic and this is the reason for the wide range of
available resistance.
To get the most from this range, the training focus
should be more on pedalling cadence rather than speed.
Concentrate on agility, u sing a higher cadence at a low
power output, by using lower gears. It is also possible
to focus on power by using a lower cadence level with
higher gears, or choose intermediate gearing for a balance
between agility and power.
You can of course adjust to obtain the combination you
desire.
B oth amateurs and pros alike can benefit from the wide
range of resistance available with the Turno.

06_MISURO B+

This ELITE Turno includes an integrated sensor that sends
speed, power and cadence data. The hometrainer sends
data using both Bluetooth and ANT+™ protocols.
Many devices (smartphones, tablets, cycle computers,
GPS devices and so on) use Blueooth Smart and ANT+ to
display data – please check your hometrainer compatibility
with the device.
To display data sent via ANT+ you need to have an ANT+
GPS device / cycle computer compatible with the "ANT+
Speed & Cadence" protocol and the "ANT+ Power"
protocol.
A list of devices compatible with one or more of these
protocols is available at the ANT+ website (http://www.
thisisant.com/directory/).
In order to read speed and/or cadence data with a
Bluetooth Smart Ready GPS device / cycle computer, the
device must be compatible with the "Speed & Cadence"
profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol. In order to display
power data, the Bluetooth Smart Ready cycle computer /
GPS device must be compatible with the "Power" profile
for the Bluetooth Smart protocol.
TRAINING
We suggest using the Turno with the ELITE My E-Training
app, specifically developed for smartphones and tablets,
though it's also possible to use it with other apps compatible
with the ANT+ and / or Bluetooth Smart protocols.
Moreover, there are several next gen cycle computers /
GPS devices compatible with the ANT+ protocol so they
can display data sent by the Turno without using an app.
You need to set wheel circumference on the device to
calculate speed properly. The circumference to set refers
to your bike's wheel, even if you remove it to use the
hometrainer.
This value changes depending on if you're using the My
E-Training app or another app / device.
With My E-Training you need to set wheel circumference
(i.e.: 2095mm).
If you're using a different app or device the value to set is:
Value=wheel circumference [mm] / 15.34
(Ref. A)
For instance, with 2095 mm wheel circumference the
(Ref. B)
value to set is 2095 / 15.34 = 136,6 > 137 mm
(Ref. C)
NOTE:
- An incorrect hometrainer set-up might cause inaccurate
(Ref. D)
power data.
- To save energy, the sensor turns off automatically after
(Ref. E)
a few minutes of inactivity. Start pedalling to reactivate it.
- Cadence from the hometrainer is the result of a calculation
(Ref. F)
and to obtain precise data your bike's chain needs to be
(Ref. G)
properly tensed. That's why there are some circumstances
(for instance with low gears) where the value might not be
absolutely precise.
- The hometrainer sends data via both Bluetooth Smart and
ANT+ protocols but you can't use them both concurrently.
Switching between protocols requires a wait for the
internal MISURO sensor to enter low energy consumption
mode (after having been inactive for 5 minutes). The new
protocol can be activated by simply pedaling and the
pairing procedure can then begin.
- The roller is not waterproof. Please be careful of sweat
and do not use abrasive cleaners, as both may damage the
electronic circuit.
- Do not store the roller in a wet or damp environment that
could damage its electronic components.

07_ASSEMBLING

- Disassemble the Turno body (Rif. A)
- Place the Turno body (Rif. A) vertically as indicated (Pic.1)
and hold it in place with the upper handle
- Rotate the foot tube 90° and place it in the proper bracket
welded to the leg (Pic. 1 and Pic. 2).
- Tighten the safety knob (Pic. 3).
- Spread the leg until you can hear the safety lever click
(Pic.4 and Pic. 5).
