Cleaning the appliance

Clean the appliance after each use to prevent
any residues drying on.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et or switch off the fuse.
• Allow the appliance to cool down.
• Clean the housing by using a moist,
soft cloth, paying particular attention to
the cooking chamber floor and cooking
chamber door seal surfaces. Use warm
water and a normal all-purpose cleaner
or washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or
cloth.
2. Remove any stubborn stains with undi-
luted all-purpose cleaner and wipe away
using a soft, moist cloth.
3. You can place the glass rotary plate (2)
in the dishwasher or wash it by hand and
rinse it.
4. It is best to wash the grill rack (6) by hand
using mild dishwashing liquid.
5. Please ensure to dry all surfaces after
cleaning with a soft cloth.
6. Leave the cooking chamber door (8) open
in order to allow the cooking chamber to
dry out completely.

Inspect appliance

WARNING
Microwave hazard!
Microwaves can be emitted if the cook-
ing chamber door is insuffi ciently sealed
when closed. Under such circumstanc-
es, the appliance may not be used.
In particular, please ensure that the
cooking chamber door seals and any
sealing surfaces in contact with other
parts are clean.
Do not use the appliance if the cook-
ing chamber door is broken or dam-
aged, or if the door lock, its hinges

or the cooking chamber door seals
show any signs of damage, or if the
door cannot be closed for any other
reason. Any such repairs may be un-
dertaken only by a qualifi ed profes-
sional.
For your own safety, it must be regularly as-
certained that the appliance is intact:
– Are the mains cable and plug undamaged?
– Are the unit housing and the viewing screen
undamaged?
– Is the glass rotary plate (2) undamaged?
– Is the grill rack (6) undamaged?
– Are the cooking chamber door sealing sur-
faces clean?
– Do the cooking chamber door hinges work
smoothly?
– Is the cooking chamber's locking sys-
tem (7) undamaged?
– Does the cooking chamber door close (8)
correctly? If the cooking chamber door is
defective, microwaves can be emitted from
the device.
– If the cooking chamber lighting is defective,
it may only be repaired by a qualified pro-
fessional.
NOTICE
The bulb is not located under the cov-
er that is fastened inside the cooking
chamber! Never unscrew or damage
this cover! It serves to protect the mag-
netron, which emits the microwaves.
