Operation
Convection mode
The appliance works like an oven when in
convection mode. The grill generates hot
air which is then forced through the cooking
chamber by a fan.
It is recommended that the appliance
be preheated to the desired tempera-
ture before placing the food into the
cooking chamber.
Convection mode with preheating
1. Select 'Convection' mode (see 'Selecting
the mode' on page EN-20).
The
symbol, 140 ºC and the first dot on
the temperature range will light up on the
display.

2. In order to set the desired temperature,
press the 'Heating mode' button several
times, or turn the control dial (4) until the de-
sired temperature is shown on the display.
You can set the temperature from 140°C
to 230°C.
3. Press the
button to confirm the selection.
4. Press the
button again to begin pre-
heating.
The corresponding dot for the preset tem-
perature flashes.
The corresponding dot will light up perma-
nently as soon as a temperature is reached
in the cooking chamber.
Once the preset temperature has been
reached in the cooking chamber, two
beeps will sound. The temperature display
will flash on the display.
5. Open the cooking chamber door (8) and
place the dish on the glass rotary plate (2)
6. Close the cooking chamber door.
7. Use the control dial to set the cooking
time to the desired time.
The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
8. Press the
button.
The cooking process will start.
As soon as the cooking time has finished,
a signal sounds 5 times and the appliance
switches off.
9. Open the cooking chamber door and
carefully remove the dish from the cook-
ing chamber.
The cooking time cannot be set before
the preset temperature has been
reached.
If the cooking time is not set within
5 minutes of the desired temperature
being reached, the appliance will end
the preheating phase. The beep will sound
five times when the appliance switches into
sleep mode.
Convection mode without
preheating
1. Select 'Convection' mode (see 'Selecting
the mode' on page EN-20).
The
symbol, 140 ºC and the first dot on
the temperature range will light up on the
display.
2. In order to set the desired temperature,
press the 'Heating mode' button several
times, or turn the control dial (4) until the de-
sired temperature is shown on the display.
You can set the temperature from 140 °C
to 230 °C.
3. Press the
button to confirm the selection.
4. Open the cooking chamber door, put the
food on the glass rotary plate and close
the cooking chamber door until it audibly
clicks into place and locks.
5. Use the control dial to set the cooking
time to the desired time.
The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
