Cleaning before first use

The appliance should be cleaned before first
use so that, for example, packaging residue
will not negatively affect the taste of the food.
1. Open the appliance door (4) by pressing
the (16) button.
2. Completely empty the cooking cham-
ber (1).
3. Wipe the appliance interior and exterior
with a soft, damp cloth.
4. Leave the appliance door (4) open in or-
der to allow the cooking chamber to dry
out completely.
5. Clean the turntable (7) and the roller
ring (8) in the dishwasher or by hand.
6. Clean the grill rack (9) by hand with a
small amount of washing-up liquid.

Inserting the turntable

1. Place the roller ring (8) in the recess in
the cooking chamber floor.
2. Place the turntable (7) with the grooved
side facing down on the roller ring, and
turn it until its centre clicks into place on
the turntable drive (6).

Connecting the appliance

1. Check that the connection voltage of the
appliance corresponds to the mains volt-
age in your home (see type plate on the
back of the appliance).
2. Connect the appliance to a properly in-
stalled protective contact socket with suffi-
cient fuse protection.
A beep will sound and
the display (10).
Heating up the appliance for
the first time
A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is non-toxic and disappears after
a short moment. Preheat the appliance for
approx. 10 minutes in grill mode before use.
