Timed defrosting
1. Place a dish or a beverage in the cook-
ing chamber, close the cooking chamber
door and make sure it locks in securely
in place.
2. Press the 'Defrost' button (30) twice.
The and symbols and dEF2 will ap-
pear on the display.
3. Turn the control dial (4) to set the de-
sired defrosting duration (between 5 sec-
onds and 95 minutes).
4. Press the button.
The appliance starts. The ventilator starts.
The light in the cooking chamber switch-
es on. The glass rotary plate (2) starts
to turn. The selected time will now count
down on the display.
After half the defrosting time has elapsed,
2 short beeps will sound, indicating that
the food needs to be rotated.
5. Open the cooking chamber door and ro-
tate the food.
The operation stops when the cooking
chamber door is open.
6. Pour away any defrost water as needed.
7. Close the cooking chamber door.
8. Push the button to continue defrost-
ing.
9. As soon as the cooking time has fin-
ished, a beep will sound 5 times. The
appliance then switches off. The display
now again shows the time.
10. Open the cooking chamber door. Care-
fully remove the dish from the cooking
chamber and drain any defrost water.
The power level for defrosting is al-
ways P 30. This cannot be modifi ed.
Pre-programmed modes

Multilevel cooking

Your appliance gives you the option of cook-
ing your dishes using up to 2 consecutive
cooking modes.
Example: You first want to defrost a casse-
role for 5 minutes and then cook it for 20 min-
utes in convection mode at 180 ºC.
1. Press the 'Defrost' button twice.
2. Use the control dial (4) to set the defrost-
ing time to 5 minutes.
3. Press the 'Heating mode' button (23) .
4. Turn the control dial (4) to select convec-
tion mode.
5. Press the button to confirm the mode.
6. Use the control dial (4) to set the temper-
ature to 180 ºC.
7. Press the button to confirm the cooking
time.
8. Turn the control dial to set the cooking
time to 20 minutes.
9. Press the button to start cooking.
The appliance starts with the selected de-
frosting type.
After the defrosting time has elapsed, a
beep will sound. The cooking mode will
then start immediately.
