Safety
Please wait a short moment after
heating up; carefully tip the dish and
stir before removing the container
from the cooking chamber.
Microwave heating of beverages can
result in delayed eruptive boiling.
Therefore care must be taken when
handling the container.
Risk of burns!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to burns. When in operation, the
appliance and its exposed component
parts can become very hot. After using
the grill, convection, or multi-function
modes, the grill (at the top of the cook-
ing chamber) will be very hot.
The casing and accessories in the cook-
ing chamber may also become very hot.
Keep children under 8 years of age
away from the device, unless they are
under constant supervision.
Do not touch parts of the unit housing.
Allow the oven and accessories to
cool before cleaning.
When removing dishes from the
cooking chamber, always use dish-
cloths or oven gloves.
Food that has been heated up in the
microwave is sometimes heated une-
venly. The containers should not get
as hot as the food inside. Please there-
fore ensure to check the temperature
of any food thoroughly and carefully,
especially for children.
Before heating up baby food, please
remove the screw cap and suction
teat from the feed bottle.
The contents of feeding bottles and
baby food jars shall be stirred or shak-
en, and the temperature checked be-
fore consumption in order to avoid
burns.
Set the power level and time exactly
in accordance with the packaging in-
structions.
Never heat food or liquids in tightly
closed containers! These can explode
in the appliance or cause injury dur-
ing opening.
Shellfi sh and crustaceans, eggs in
the shell or whole hard-boiled eggs
should only be heated with micro-
waves if they are heated in spe-
cial containers or if holes have been
punctured in the shell/skin before
cooking. Otherwise, such foods may
explode, even after microwave cook-
ing is completed.
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in fi re and damage to
property.
In order to ensure suffi cient air circu-
lation, the prescribed minimum dis-
tances must be complied with (see
'Start-up' on page EN-38).
Only use containers made of micro-
waveable, heat resistant material.
Please ensure to closely monitor the
heating up or cooking of dishes con-
tained in fl ammable materials such as
plastic or paper containers. There is a
risk of these igniting.
Do not place any objects (cookery
books, dishcloths etc.) in the cooking
chamber. Accidentally switching on
the appliance can cause damage or
even ignition.
Do not use the appliance to dry dish-
es or clothing or to heat up hot wa-
