General operating instructions

Idle state

The appliance is in an idle state when the
door is locked, the light in the oven is not lit,
and the display shows the current time.
If the time is not set (at initial start-up or when
the appliance has been disconnected from
the mains), the display will permanently show
when idle.

Cooking compartment light

The cooking chamber light switches on auto-
matically when
– the appliance is in operation or in pause
state;
– the cooking chamber door (6) is open.
Opening the cooking
chamber door
When you open the door (6) during operation,
the appliance goes to idle/pause.
After you close the door again, the appliance
will resume operation only when you press
the button (10).

Function control dial

Using the function control dial (8) you can se-
lect the operating modes and functions of the
appliance.

Control dial

Using the control dial (9) you can select the
cooking time, weight or automatic programme
according to the selected operating mode.
General operating instructions

The clock

The integrated clock is used for time display,
to automatically stop the cooking process and
as a timer ("egg timer").
The date is always shown in 24-hour format.

Setting the time

Do not allow more than 1 minute to elapse
between the following steps, otherwise the
setting process will be interrupted.
1. Use the function control dial (8) to access
the "Time" screen.

The hour display will flash.
2. Turn the control dial (9) until the current
hour is reached.
3. Press the button
setting.
The minute display will flash.
4. Turn the control dial until the current min-
ute is reached.
5. Press the button
The current time is set and continues to
run.
To stop setting the time, press the but-
ton . The appliance will then switch
back to idle mode.
