General operating instructions
Flush control switch
The control dial (3) can be pushed in to pro-
tect it from hot steam and contamination dur-
ing operation.
• Lightly press on the control dial (3) to
push it in/out.
Idle state
The appliance is in an idle state when the
door is locked, the light in the oven is not lit
and the display shows the current time.
If the time is not set (at initial start-up or when
the appliance has been disconnected from
the mains), the display will permanently show
in idle.

Cooking compartment light
The cooking chamber light switches on auto-
matically when
– the appliance is in operation or in pause
state;
– the door (9) is open.
Opening the door
When you open the door (9) during operation,
the appliance goes to idle/pause
When you close the door again, operation
will not resume until you press the 'START /
+30Sek. / Bestätigen' sensor (27).
Clock
The integrated clock is used for time display,
to automatically stop the cooking process and
as a timer ('egg timer').
The date is always shown in 24-hour format.
Setting the time
Do not allow more than 1 minute to
elapse between the following steps,
otherwise the setting process will be inter-
rupted.
1. Press the 'Timer / Uhrzeit' sensor (29)
twice
The display shows the time
symbol (22). The hour display will flash.
2. Turn the control dial (3) until the current
hour is reached.
3. Press the 'Timer / Uhrzeit' sensor (29)
again to confirm the setting.
The minute display will flash.
4. Turn the control dial until the current min-
ute is reached.
